I was thinking of getting a good friend and myself a Webkinz, and a Lil Kinz, since we both enjoy the virtual pet thing (think Neopets, and Zetapets). However I am 23, she is 25 and most of the advertising for Webkinz and Lil Kinz is directed toward children, calling Webkinz "educational" and "good for children".

1. I don't want to buy something designed to entertain a child, but I am open to buying something that is a fad, like Beanie Babies or Furby. I also like cute stuffed animals, which some of the Webkinz are. Are Webkinz worth buying, if the owners would be 23 and 25 year old females?

4. Well, for my opinion Webkinz is so worth buying them, it's kind of like Neopets, Lil Kinz, and Zetapets but I think Webkinz is more enjoyable then Neopets. Lil Kinz is cheaper than Webkinz but you can always buy Webkinz at Ebay for a much cheaper price!
5. I think it is so worth it! Although I never really have any money after I buy one…it is really fun you get to buy stuff do a job take care of your pet…I LUV IT!I have nine might get another one today or tomorow.

YES IT IS WORTH IT. the webkinz world is really cool. it is VERY fun you can play fun games at the arcade.decorate your home.visit other webkinz owner's home. verse other players in games like pool. etc. by playing games, you win"kinz cash". Wich can be used for buy clothing, food, frenuture, toys, games, and new rooms for yor pet.

13. Yes! Unfortunately for parents, Webkinz really isn't educational at all! You do have to maintain your pets health, happiness, and hunger, but all can be easily accomplished by playing the many games available and earning "KinzCash". They have their own versions of the classic games Frogger, PacMan, Asteroids, Breakout, ConnectFour, Battleship, Memory, Scrabble (the most "educational" arcade game), mini golf, bowling, and even a game to improve your typing/keyboarding skills (plus many more). The only other "educational" area is a knowledge "quiz corner" where you can earn a good amount of cash for your time and enables you to do advanced "jobs" at the employment office. Each of the games IS challenging enough for adults.
    Webkinz will start you out with $2,000 KinzCash, one room and 2 pieces of furniture for your pet. You can decorate and add rooms with more cash. You can invite and make friends and play games with them.
    The sucky thing is that Webkinz world is free to use for ONLY ONE YEAR after the purchase of the first toy, then a user MUST PURCHASE ANOTHER TOY TO CONTINUE PLAYING. (There's a 30 day grace period before your account will be deactivated.)
